Existing Stretch 2 users can upgrade their hardware to nearly that of a Stretch 3. The upgrade kit includes:

• DexWrist 3

• Stretch Gripper 3, including D405 camera

• Wide angle head navigation camera

This gives your Stretch 2 nearly all of the capability of a Stretch 3!

The upgrade kit provides a kinematically identical robot. It is visually nearly indistinguishable from a Stretch 3. This means that training data will transfer seamlessly.

The primary difference from a Stretch 3 will be the somewhat lower computational power versus of the older NUC computer.
