Aaron Edsinger, CEO and Founder
Aaron has spent the last 20 years building robots and building robot companies. He has founded four companies focused on bringing human collaborative robots to the consumer, manufacturing, healthcare, and research markets.
Two of these companies, Meka Robotics and Redwood Robotics, were acquired by Google in 2013. At Google Aaron was a Director of Robotics where he worked closely with SVP and C-level executives to define the overall robotics strategy and launch one of their keystone efforts in robotics.
Aaron is an innovative thinker with a broad understanding of the entire robot product design stack, including: user experience, human-robot interaction, industrial design, mechanical design, design for manufacture, SW architecture, real time control, and design of force-controlled arms and humanoids.
Aaron holds a M.S. and PhD from MIT CSAIL and a B.S from Stanford. When he’s not working at Hello Robot you can most likely find him spending time with family or listening to music in New Orleans.
